Scope of application
Sherpa connectors are approved connectors for load-bearing timber constructions, which are, if not otherwise specified in the general certificate of approval, designed and built according to DIN V ENV 1995-1-1:1994-06-Eurocode 5: Structural design and dimensioning of wooden structures; Part 1-1: General regulations and regulations for buildings in combination with the national "Directive for the Application of DIN V ENV 1995-1-1" as of February 2005
Wood quality
Solid coniferous wood, classified S10 (C24) or higher Laminated timber/glulam beams, fulfilling the quality criteria according to DIN 1052
Possible connections
Torsion resistant girders or support pillars or girders and support pillars secured against torsion Main girders with pivotig bearing Inclined connections at angles between 35 degrees and 145 degrees
Climatic conditions
Suitable for categories 1 and 2 (according to DIN 1052:2004-8)
